TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a flexible, rubber-like filament with outstanding impact absorption and chemical resistance. It bridges the gap between rigid plastics and elastomers, making it ideal for grips, gaskets, protective cases, and wearable components.
FamilyMake offers 95A Shore hardness TPU - firm enough to hold shape but with significant flex and bounce-back.

Limitations
- Slower print speeds required (~20–30 mm/s)

Applications
Printing tips
Print TPU at 220–240 °C with a bed at 30–60 °C. Use a direct-drive extruder for best results - Bowden setups can cause jamming. Print slowly (25 mm/s) and disable retraction or use very low retraction (0.5–1 mm).

- What is Shore hardness 95A?
- Shore A measures the hardness of flexible materials. 95A is firm but noticeably flexible - similar in feel to a car tyre or the sole of a running shoe. It holds its shape under load but flexes under pressure.
